Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining lots of attention. Calvano is from California and was interested at first in competitive gymnastics. However, she later decided to pursue an acting career. The first time she appeared on screen was on the screen in 2010 with the episode of CBS's NCIS. The biographical crime drama film J Edgar was her big screen debut a year later. In subsequent seasons, she was able to establish herself among the best performers of the day. In 2011, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award in the category of the Best Performance by Young Actresses between 11 and 15 because of her performance on NCIS. In 2013, her role as a special guest in Disney XD's comedy 'Kickin The 'It'' received her nomination once more for the Young Artist Award. Calvano was a key character in "Mom" in the series in its first three seasons and also made several cameos in Season 4. The year 2015 was the year she won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
